State Relations
Every year, the South Carolina legislature meets in Columbia from the second Tuesday in January until the first Thursday in June. As in other states, our legislature has its own unique set of procedures, rules, manners and preferences.
Because so much work is done directly with legislators, knowing the members and establishing relationships of trust is critical to success.
Our clients are most typically national companies or organizations whose interests will be affected by legislation under consideration. We are retained to ensure that our clients’ concerns are understood and addressed and to work for legislative outcomes that respect these concerns.
